Or you could just accept that pools like this are meant to have algae in them and move on.

It’s amazing since all I kept hearing for the past month as this was being done was that this does nothing to fix the underlying issues and that its just going to be the same as it was within weeks due to the heat and low water level. If anything it would be worse due to the dark paint used to absord more heat. Now were here and exactly what was predicted happened and people really blaming shit on more crazy lies lol. These people are beyond nuts.

      exactly what was predicted happened

In the MAGA mindset, that just makes it all the more suspicious. Curious, you seemed to know exactly what would happen and conveniently it happened the way you said… You must have done something to make it happen.

Sounds like the average large project with multiple project managers.

“I want this done before the deadline and under budget”

“But , we dont have the budget for engineering or research and that deadline isnt enough time to do the work properly”

      “I dont care. Do it”

*project gets done, very shoddy work, has tons of issues in the future that could have been avoided with proper engineering *

Cue the most idiotic person (manager) getting a raise because of their "hard work and being viewed as a “visionary” when in reality theyre a dumbfuck with a big mouth. The American way.

They don’t even stop and think about how utterly fucking ridiculous these accusations are. I bet you dollars to donuts that near the DC monuments there are cameras everywhere. Where’s the footage of these evil Dems dumping buckets of algae in the pool? Any (reliable) eyewitness reports? Any scientists taking samples and maybe seeing if the algae was recently disturbed/transplanted?

I mean, I get it, their feelings mean more to them than facts and evidence, but c’mon, man. This is a 4th grade level critical thinking exercise.

They are just that dumb. Half of all Americans are complete and utter morons. Like we have our fair share of idiots in Europe, but most of our idiots seem to be a lot smarter those MAGA people.

Buckets of algae wouldn’t get it. People would be dumping multiple 50# bags of fertilizer in there. Still every bit as absurd.

There is a much easier way to make algae grow in a shallow slow flowing body of water, just paint the bottom a dark color, that way the water stays warm, most algae love warm water. So all you need to do is get a company to come drain it and paint it a dark color, and Bob’s your uncle. It has the added effect of the water staying at the ideal temp for algae growth for a longer percentage of the year, just got to find someone stupid enough to sign off on the plan.

Clearly their pool guy is a dirty dem. He purposely let the Ph level rise and alkalinity get low so the the chlorine was useless…

You know more about water chemistry than most of my coworkers at my power plant. I get so tired of telling them to watch the tower pH and make sure the acid is running in auto so the hypo will actually fucking do something. It’s a miracle that our condenser performance isn’t trashed by fouling. I’ve caught tower pH at fucking 9 before when it’s supposed to be 7.0-7.5, and I’m trying to push for 6.8-7.2.

What’s so stupid about this is why would a president ever have any input on something so trivial? Seriously, should he oversee the toilet paper purchasing in the capitol too?

Trump’s whole thing is interior decorating.

Seriously, while the world is burning, he’s most concerned with swatches (and being in the Epstein files, of course).

There’s probably a world where Trump was a tiny bit smarter and got an education in interior design to start a new brass movement. Probably the same world where hitler went into architecture after WW1 and is renowned for being a father of brutalism.

One of his extended family members has a house in the UK and it’s really close to where I live and I sometimes have to go down there and look at it because it’s quite spectacularly tacky. They’re never going to be able to sell it on because Pablo Escobar would think the gold leaf was overdone.

I saw a comment on reddit a few years ago that said something like, “Trump’s idea of being rich is what an 8 year old would think being rich means.”

Who else would be impressed by a gold toilet?

Because with the exception of like one person the entire family is messed up. Most rich people buy large houses and Lamborghinis, but for some reason the trumps have the artistic taste of an 18th century monarch.

Trump gave the algae water. Everyone knows he should have given them Brawndo. It has electrolytes.
