Yep, “it’s not X, it’s Y” is signature AI. Hunter needs to learn to write his own damn tweets.

Autism@lemmy.world•It's Thursday 06/25/2026. Hey, What's Going On!
2·20 hours agoYeah I rotate between two things for the weekdays. Poptarts, or cereal if my lactose intolerance is not as bad.
On weekends it’s fried eggs, toast and maybe some bacon.

1·6 days agoI shit you not, I used to work for a company (with no IT dept btw) that refused to use Firefox because they said it was “a trojan virus.”
What I think happened is one of their dipshit employees downloaded something they shouldn’t have and got a virus and the bosses blamed the browser.

Political Memes@lemmy.world•The evil Democrats vandalizing the reflection pool with... Algae.
1·11 days agoThey don’t even stop and think about how utterly fucking ridiculous these accusations are. I bet you dollars to donuts that near the DC monuments there are cameras everywhere. Where’s the footage of these evil Dems dumping buckets of algae in the pool? Any (reliable) eyewitness reports? Any scientists taking samples and maybe seeing if the algae was recently disturbed/transplanted?
I mean, I get it, their feelings mean more to them than facts and evidence, but c’mon, man. This is a 4th grade level critical thinking exercise.

Technology@lemmy.world•Meta creating AI version of Mark Zuckerberg so staff can talk to the bossEnglish
0·2 months agoNo one wants the real Zuckerberg as it is… why do we need an AI one?

I’m not saying that it’s only AI that’s doing this, you’re right, this has been pretty common in writing predating AI. It’s just the fact that AI reliably overuses this phrase as seen above. There is also overuse of various other quips like “X: Unraveling the Y” or “delving into X” which is also used by humans.
It’s the whole pattern recognition thing. It’s undeniable that AI leans heavily into certain terms and phrases. Even if they pivot to something else, then it will be, well… an overuse of something else. lol.
