It’s like yelling at an Amazon worker they work for a bad company when they just need to feed their family all while still supporting Amazon monetarily by using their services, you’re not helping as much as you think. Somehow everyone gets this and many boycott Amazon but instead of inconveniencing yourself for this one you just get mad at the lowest person on the totem pole and still support it.

Actually I’ve repeatedly used it as an example in this thread, if I go to Japan it is my responsibility to learn and abide by their custom where tipping is an insult, I shouldn’t force it just because “that’s my culture back home,” I should respect the culture I’m visiting. Same but opposite here.
