    Your country is being run by a man who behaves like I behaved in fourth grade when I didn’t want to admit I hadn’t done my homework and just compounded lie upon lie upon lie hoping to outlast the teachers somehow.

    For the record, I was a total shit-head in fourth grade. I was ducking and weaving, adding more lies to the narrative (even going as far as blaming my sister for stealing it, and STILL not backing down when they brought her in to call my bluff). Somehow, my idiot brain just thought that if I kept spinning out more and more convoluted webs of bullshit, it would eventually hit the magical “they believe me” mark.

    Here’s the thing though…I was in FOURTH GRADE and I GREW OUT OF IT! What the fuck is Trump’s excuse?

    Vandals? What vandals?

    My understanding is he hired a company that didn’t have the required expertise, they painted the pool then dumped in a chemical that stripped the paint, and now the resulting thing looks like crap because that’s what happens when you dump paint stripping chemicals into a painted pool.

    Besides how can anyone vandalize it? There’s police and national guard and whatnot everywhere in that area.

      Yes, but you live in reality. In the land of Fox News, God-Emperor Trump had the pool redone perfectly by a loyal servant, and then the evil Antifa LGBTQ saboteurs snuck in disguised as normal tourists and ruined everything!

        I mean - his base is easily as dumb, but what do you need? He could brag about how he aced the third cognitive test again, and how Biden and Obama never even took it. How water disables magnets? How windmills cause cancer?

        Or his Wharton professor who is quoted often as saying he was the stupidest student he’d ever seen by a wide margin . . The list is very very long of reasons why he’s stupid. That he’s convinced corrupt legislators and 49% of voters who voted to go along with it isn’t really a counter argument.
