    Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, prompting western sanctions, India has imported large volumes of discounted Russian oil.

    India paid money for Russian oil. Money that they knew would finance bombs killing Ukrainian civilians.

    India is a true “friend”…

      Yes the countries that profit the most from this war are India and China.
      I don’t think India is in any hurry to help end this war.

      Tbf Europe’s still buying Russian gas while being engaged in a proxy war with them, so…

        TBF because of Europe, Russian earnings per cubic ton of delivered gas have decreased substantially.

        So while Europe have been working against Russia being able to finance their aggression against Ukraine, India’s actions this far has strengthened Russia ability to continue to target Ukrainian civilians.

        The Russian aggression against Ukraine is less of an European proxy war than a Russian aggression against Europe.
