Even as Biden warned Israel’s government against further targeting of the civilian population in Gaza, he reiterated his general support. “I’m never going to leave Israel,” said the U.S. president. “The defense of Israel is still critical.”

So first he sets out a “red line” that he warns Netanyahu about crossing, but then goes on to say he’ll never stop supporting Israel. His red line is meaningless and he won’t do a damn thing when Israel keeps murdering innocent civilians.

Yeah. If they cross this line, what’s the consequence? Anything? Or just a bunch of hand-wringing and another red line?

Oh that’s easy, just move the red line back and say “if you cross this line, then we’ll consider not supporting you”.

Never take his apologists seriously when they say that he’s trying to rein in Netanyahu’s fascist apartheid regime.

The man who once bragged about attending more AIPAC events than any other politician in Washington hasn’t changed his submissive stance towards the Israeli government one bit.

He may feebly pretend otherwise with empty statements to the press, but that’s all it is: empty pretense.
