Palestinians say this war is robbing them not only of their loved ones but also of the funeral rites that long have offered mourners some dignity and closure in the midst of unbearable grief. Israeli strikes have killed so many people so quickly that they’ve overwhelmed hospitals and morgues, making the normal rituals of death all but impossible.
Overflowing morgues have compelled hospitals to bury people before their relatives can claim them. Gravediggers have laid dozens of unidentified bodies side by side in two large backhoe-dug furrows in Gaza City now holding 63 and 46 bodies, respectively, said Mohammed Abu Selmia, the general director of Shifa Hospital.
Some of you may die, but that’s a price I am willing to pay? Terrible terrible take.
First to answer? Far from it, unanswerable? No, build bridges, don’t bomb them. It’s not being dodged by anyone.
What’s the alternative? Being stuck up with Hamas forever?
Build bridges with whom? How is that going to stop Hamas? You are providing the same useless non-answer as anybody else. Hamas is still shooting rockets at Israel. How do you stop them?
So I provide a potential solution and you hand wave it away, your solution is to destroy gaza kill thousands of Palestinians, leave the survivors in rubble with no water or food. Wipe your hand, and pat your back for a job well done? This won’t destroy hamas, and it would be foolish to think it would.
I repeat myself: How is that going to stop Hamas?
Your “solution” is not much of a solution when it completely fails to address the problem at hand.
What is the problem at hand?
Hamas killing over 1000 Israeli’s and shooting thousands of rockets at Israel, in case you missed it.
And why is hamas doing that?
Yawn. As predicted, yet another one without a solution to the problem.
No I have one, but it doesn’t fit your narrative so you dismissed it, your solution is to kill every last Palestinian because they are or could be hamas. Yawn, predictable.
