This narrative is basically just a hostage scenario. Hamas took a few dozen hostages, so Israel is taking all of Gaza hostage.

The reason before was to terrorize/subdue the population into submission, and now the reason is to force them to flee or die or both.
Take a walk in a Palestinian’s shoes who lives under terror from the sky and falls asleep to the buzzing of survelience drones every night. Who barely has enough to eat or enough to wear. Who has to spend hours every day going through security checkpoints. Who has no hope of anything ever getting better. Who has a life expectancy of 40. Who gets their knees blown out by a sniper for marching.
This is what Israel does. And yes, the bad part is only just beginning. When the ground invasion starts the sea will run red with blood, because this is genocide. The European settlers are finally killing off the native population to steal their land. Truly the 51st state.

The few farms and fisheries in Gaza can’t produce enough for 2 million people. Especially since they aren’t allowed to mechanize their agriculture, and are limited in maritime range for fishing.
