Judas wasn’t a traitor. He was the only one that fully understood what the goal was and what had to be done to make it happen.
On the other hand there is his POV in Jesus Christ Superstar where again Judas isn’t a traitor, he’s Jesus’ most trusted person, but he sees the route being taken and he’s concerned that Jesus might be setting himself up for a huge failure if he doesn’t deliver.
“I remember when this whole thing began; no talk of God then, we called you a man! And, believe me, my admiration for you hasn’t died. But every word you say today gets twisted round some other way; and they’ll hurt you if they think you’ve lied!”
you had me at the first part.
and then you lost me at the second part.
and then you won me back at the third part.

Jesus Christ! Superstar.
Make Antioch Great Again.
And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying:
‘O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.’
And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas…
And the Lord spake, saying:
‘First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.’
“One, two, five!”
“Three, sir!”
“Three!”
LOVE IT!
I was not expecting that.
Nobody does.
I was just inquiring…
