“i’m sorry, my thoughts were too loud for me to hear you over them…”
I can help you make the voices stop. Join me.
The methylphenidate was helping, but since my psychiatrist retired I’m still on the waiting list for a new one who can actually prescribe and i’ve run out ;_;
The best card games have the rules and attributes stated on each card, preferably with a cool picture and blurb of flavor text.
Reading the card, explains the card.
Enter textless Cryptic Command.
In that case, my opponent could probably tell me that I had to play the rest of the game doing a headstand and I wouldn’t know enough to say otherwise.
“Hmm ok, I think I’d understand better if I could watch you play a few rounds”
“That’s Numberwang!”
I just ask them to start playing and learn as I go. Lot easier that way.
Then you get bored and don’t actually learn anything… Or maybe that’s just me.
Please be Prozd please be Prozd please be Prozd… Yes!
Yo how do you get the old YouTube shortened links?
I used the share function on ReVanced, must be functionality from the app.
I use ReVanced too, perhaps a newer version. Recently the Share links changed, they no longer use the youtu.be shortener.
This is why I’m the rules guy in my board game group. I sit down, absorb the rulebook, think about edge cases and check online for answers, simulate a game on my own, and then I get everyone together to sit down and learn the game.
Turns out the ability to hold the rules to like 6 different board games in my head, while not vital for daily life, is a superpower that I intend to fully use.
Me - I understand all the words you just used, but not in this context.
Boyfriend is a huge board gaming nerd. He’s a very patient person lol.
I prefer to be the one reading the rules and showing others after i got the basics. Youtube is also a great help for learning almost any board game.
teaching other people is one of the best ways to learn
Got my far in uni, having a few friends who didn’t listen during lectures made it easy
This combined with some reason all the rooms lights are on and at full blast. There is no air flow not even a breeze and you expected to remember every little thing. If you ask a question you get a grin and condescending attitude.
Is this why I hate card games?
Yes. Yes it is.
Me whenever my Midwesterner husband tries to explain the rules to Euchre.
I swear to God, those rules just keep changing so only the real Midwesterner can win!
Edited: Corrected “Eucher” from “Yuker”.
If no one else knows the rules, you get you make them up lol
Euchre* Its almost the primary game played where im from. I hate it. I don’t really care for card games as it is.
Noted! Adjusting my response! But yes, it’s super frustrating to learn!
That’s me when I’d play board games with friends. Then we’d play through the game and I’d learn as we played and get an okay grasp of strategy, but they had so many board games that we’d just move onto the next board game and the process starts all over again.

Numa numa yay
Jokes on you! I’m hyper-focusing on that shit. Card games and board games are my jam.
