    In sub-Saharan Africa, the costs of adapting to extreme weather could be $30-50 billion per year over the next decade, the report estimated.

    God. That’s such a small amount compared to what the world economy generates, and yet, invariably, the world will balk at the cost.

    Most Sub-Saharan African countries are still largely reliant on primary sector exports for their economies, so in addition to Africa being not a great place to endure climate change in to begin with, each change that does occur will have a disproportional effect compared to what Middle and Upper Income countries will endure.

      also industrialized nations have benefitted from fossil fuels for over a century which is causing this entire problem, so we 100% owe it to them to help.
