Fan theory: survivors of the Thanos snap still had half of their gut biome randomly die, so for the week following the snap, basically everything with a digestive tract had explosive diarrhea.
And again when everyone was brought back, including the gut bacteria.
Twist: The Gut Bacteria was brought back to its origin point. Not into your stomach wherever you happened to be years later.
Good point, now do conjoined twins.
Oh shit he turned that woman into a baby
……they got better
Never really understood why Thanos thought this action would provoke much change besides killing a shit ton of life.
There are a bunch of different versions of Thanos in the comics. This version was whatever Marvel thought would put butts in seats. The rationale is that he survived a famine and his dumb little brain thought the best way to help others avoid famine was to disappear a bunch of them randomly lol. He didn’t even make all superheroes that wanted to kill him disappear. Total idiot.
Yeah, I like the version where he has a crush on Death and wants to impress her by killing half the people in the universe.
But I think they wanted to set up an infinity war where he deserved to win, which IMO he absolutely did. I was disliking it the first time I watched because I expected it to do the typical hero movie thing where the heroes pull off a win even after fumbling things as hard as they did in infinity war, but then he did the snap. Advantage of not paying attention to their plans, as I wasn’t aware that there was going to be a second part until I saw how that ended, so it was a surprise.
But all he really did was turn back the doom clock by one doubling period. You can’t stop exponential growth with a single cull, unless that cull is pretty much 100% (or leaves the remnants so scattered they age out of reproduction age before uniting).
Oh, my god. That woman engulfed a baby like a python and then Thanos saved it.
