Israel will resist this move as much as any of the others. Israel was created by the UN as a settler colony for European Jews nearly 80 years ago. I will never understand why the Jews of Europe were not given a piece of Germany for their new state instead of a piece of Palestine that these Jews had no social or cultural connection to.
