I think the real ascendant Star Wars take is Jar Jar Binks is actually very kind and just wants the best for everyone. He made mistakes as a Senator but I don’t think the Gungans had much contact with space before the Battle of Naboo? He got taken advantage of by Palpatine, but so did, like everyone else?
