I’m not sure how often these headlines need to be repeated every year and then the same writers act shocked that farmers in the middle of nowhere and suburban middle class white/blue collar workers are not interested in Democratic Socialism.
They will all agree about every aspect and feature that socialism comes with but as soon as you put a D next to an R they will go for that R every time.
Those voters are not the ones you aim for, it’s the ones that are always blindly voting for people with D next to their name. They need to make the people realise Democratic Socialism is a better option for actual change than the current establishment Dems, and it’s kinda happening in a lot of places.
If you’re at the D-vs-R vote, it’s too late to choose the flavour of D, isn’t it?
