Summary

Trump allies are urging the White House to curb Elon Musk’s media presence after his controversial remarks on Social Security.

Musk called it “the biggest Ponzi scheme” and suggested eliminating entitlement spending, conflicting with Trump’s vow to preserve benefits.

Musk’s cost-cutting measures have led to Social Security office closures and reduced phone services, sparking backlash from both parties.

Critics warn Musk’s comments could jeopardize Trump’s 2026 campaign, while Democrats capitalize on the issue. The White House continues to insist Musk’s views do not reflect Trump’s policy.

The White House continues to insist Musk’s views do not reflect Trump’s policy.

Doesn’t that make Musk a domestic terrorist who needs to have his citizenship revoked and be sent to an El Salvadorian prison? At least, That’s the Administration position when someone who is not a jizzilionaire expresses views that do not reflect Trump’s policies…

I truly hope we strap him to a SpaceX rocket and launch him to the sun.

It would be super difficult to launch him into the sun. Believe it or not, the deltav is much higher to go towards the sun than away from it. Might as well just launch him into space with no destination.

There was a comment that put it into a very easy to understand comparison. Now I have to find it.

Well, shoot. I can’t remember the community it was in. The commenter related trying to get to the sun like trying to get to the center of the spinning fair ride that pins you to the wall with spinning forces.

The math is pretty simple. We’re travelling at 25km/sec around the sun. You have to get that to zero to hit the sun. Getting to Jupiter means getting up to like 37km/sec (made up number). Way easier.

edit: I looked it up because it didn’t feel right. Outer planets move SLOWER the farther out you go because gravity is weaker and they don’t need as much angular momentum. So the math isn’t quite as simple as that. :)

Nah, he wouldn’t experience most of that. Give him a suit, set him loose in space three days out on a collision course with his tesla.

One of the biggest problems with this is trying to get the SpaceX rocket into space considering that the rockets prefer to explode.

Didn’t know jizzilionaire was a term, but it describes fElon more aptly than anything else.

The biggest threat the republicans have… is putting what they stand for out front and center. That’s why their typical strategy is to focus on nothingburgers that have almost no impact like, dealing with the trans athletes. or wholey fictional ideas like schools putting in litterboxes for furries.

"Social security is the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.” --The Living Embodiment of a Ponzi Scheme

This “man” did nothing besides get lucky with being born wealthy. People invest in his stupid shit, inflating the value of his companies, and these companies don’t actually make a profit. New investors are required to fund him constantly, or the companies would crash and burn. Without government contracts and welfare, he would already be a pauper, given his lifestyle.

Just because he says a lot of stupid shit that his followers accept as truth doesn’t mean he should be restricted from saying that stupid shit. Every time he opens his mouth more people wake up to the realization of how dangerous he is. It’s a public service if you think about it.

The Democratic firm Blueprint tested 20 different political messages about Musk, and the four that were most “concerning” to registered voters were all about Social Security. The top two were about Musk’s proposals to fire Social Security Administration employees and dismantle phone services. By contrast, voters said the messages least concerning to them were about his personal life, such as Musk fathering children with five different women. The survey was conducted last week and released Thursday.

These are the same people who wanted Bill Clinton’s head on a pike for getting a blowjob from an intern.

    Trump’s 2026 campaign

Unrelated, summary is bad, this is bad wording and it isn’t anywhere in the article. Trump doesn’t run in 2026, it’s the elections for House and Senate.

This is the only thing close to that in the article:

“The more of these Musk interviews, the more discussion we’ll have. I think the entire 2026 campaign will be a referendum on Musk” if the billionaire’s poll numbers continue to drop, this person added. “You will see ad after ad with the chainsaw.”

Don’t use AI to write your summaries please and thank you, mmmkay.

No, let him keep running his big mouth. If there’s anything to gain from the marching of everyone’s livelihoods stomped on, is at least we’ll get the entertainment of this incompetent sycophant running his mouth and pissing people on all sides off.

If there’s anything good to be seen in what’s going on right now it’s that Trump, Musk, and the rest of the regime can’t help but shout the quiet part from rooftops. Let Musk go on… Eventually, even the hardcore Republicans are going to get sick of this travesty. Hopefully anyway…
