Summary

Donald Trump falsely claimed he had approval ratings of 69% and 71%, despite no public poll supporting those figures.

Recent surveys from Pew, Quinnipiac, Gallup, and others place his approval below 50%, with some showing him underwater.

Trump has a history of dismissing unfavorable polls as “fake” and even sued a news organization over poll results.

Experts suggest his political success relies on maintaining the illusion of widespread support despite declining approval ratings.

Why is this surprising? Everything he says is “people say”, “they say”, “polls say”, etc without ever specifying who these “people” are.

Well, these people do have different voices, and he can hear them all the time - he just doesn’t know that it’s his thoughts, cause he’s to fucking dumb to realise it.
