This isn’t meant to put down Hakim, I love his videos, but does anyone else have trouble understanding what he says? He talks quite fast and kind of mumbles.
Yeah he doesn’t enunciate like he should. Content is good. Speaking voice not so much.

Also someone else’s risk does not impact my choices. It’s like he’s read some economics 101 for the first day. But he should have focused on supply and demand, and on opportunity cost but he went with risk and made a mistake.
Yea socialism great. Turns out it isn’t very efficient though. The efficiency losses in socialism even if it’s democracy socialism rather than dictatorship capitalism far outweighs those in capitalism. Even which choosing your own wage you still come back to supply and demand.
Healthcare, taxes, housing etc can all be fixed with appropriate taxes and externalities corrections in a capitalist society. Yea they need work. Doesn’t mean it needs to be socialism.
