Yeah, there are a lot of really sweet bikers who’ll give you the shirt off your back and help you out in a pinch.
There’s also the Sturgis crowd.
I don’t know how much overlap there is between between the two, but I have never personally run into the Sturgis crowd. I know where they are around here and avoid that area, that might be why, but like buzz says there’s five of them in the whole damn county.
There’s like three distinct sub-cultures of bikers which can be summarized as anarchists, weird libertarians (usually the mind your own business type who are generally chill), and racists. At least that’s what I’ve seen in my county, which for context I’m in San Bernardino.
99% of ‘bikers’ you see today are old fuckers with one foot already in the retirement home and/or poser chuds who are desperate for any way they can reinforce their fragile masculinity by throwing money at the problem.

Biker culture also tends to have a lot of unfortunate overlap with violent white nationalism and misogyny, which is right at home for Trump fans
