House Oversight Chairman James Comer said Friday his committee will issue two subpoenas for billionaire investor Leon Black as part of the panel’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

I have never abused a woman. I have never been with an underage woman. I have never engaged in sex trafficking,” Black plans to tell members of the House Oversight Committee, according to his opening remarks. “I have never paid Epstein for access to women. I was never blackmailed by Epstein. I was not involved with, and had no knowledge of, any of Epstein’s heinous conduct.

    It’s completely possible wealthy people associated with Epstein had nothing to do with the sex trafficking. Maybe they kept it to normal insider trading and fraud stuff.

    This guy has been separately accused of rape by multiple women, and though I don’t have his full statement, he seems to suggest the release of the Epstein files were bad and caused him to be improperly implicated. I’m gonna guess he didn’t just keep it to the fraud stuff.
