1 year agoRight, but this is about setting a minimum standard for it to be classified as broadband. For an average individual 100Mbps is high speed internet.

Here’s an interesting article about it. It’s really a limitation of current DOCSIS (fiber is a lot simpler) tech/equipment, but it’s being improved.
