I tried songwriting but my bread and butter genre - pop ballads - requires a very high level of lyrical quality in order to be good, which I’m just not able to achieve. Production: the songs I dislike tend to become hits while the ones I do like end up being only okay, so my label tells me to stay in my lane cause I obviously don’t have the ear for potential success. Composing: I can’t play any instruments really well.
