I’m a MacBook user and I’ve been very happy with AlDente. It took some reading to understand all the features but I really believe it’s made a difference in the health of my battery.

For what it’s worth, I have this problem sometimes when an album has multiple releases and you can choose which release to pull tags from via the context menu in Picard. There’s also a pretty powerful scripting language that you can use to specify the directory and file re-naming structure as well. It took me a while to get my structure set up properly but once I did it’s been a life saver in keeping my files organized.
If there’s something in particular you’re trying to achieve that’s not working I’d be happy to try and help!
boredreading.com is a blog feed with hashtag/topic subscriptions but it sounds like that’s not really what you’re looking for?
If you’re printing PLA then 80°C bed temp is way too hot and probably contributing to warping, lower the temp to 60°C or so. The filament roll should have suggested temperatures labeled on it somewhere.
Yes! Access to my files via web browser from any machine without having to install software was what initially drew me in, but it’s replaced almost all the CAD software I’ve tried including Fusion260 and Freecad.
I’ve moved away from free personal Fusion360 to OnShape and it suits my needs just fine. The free tier makes all my models public but I don’t mind, and it runs much more smoothly in my browser than Fusion ever did on my desktop.
The install script does generate docker compose and env files that you can edit. Others have suggested alternative radio options so I hope you find one that works for you :)
I actually just got Azuracast running in a container for the first time yesterday. Where are you running into trouble with the script?
I can’t remember the last time I saw a Raspberry Pi for $40, the demand still has prices sky-high
Never noticed those bordered corners either, good job spotting them! I just pushed a fix to the stylesheet. I’m not on Github so I’m not sure this theme will be showing up on the official site. If anything I would at least wait until the native Lemmy theme was ready to share.
There is no compact version at the moment. Is the sidebar much smaller in comparison to a native theme in your browser?
Yeah it sucks that there are no free user style extensions for Safari, sorry ☹️
I don’t have plans for a Catppuccin theme, but someone else asked about it on my last post and I found a theme on Github: https://github.com/n3oney/catppuccin-lemmy
Stylus themes only change CSS locally in-browser, I’m still working on a native theme. I will definitely post an update when it’s further along because I’ll need help from others willing to install and test early versions on their own instances!
I just pushed an update with different font selections, I may try to add size selection in a future update as well. For now see if any of the other fonts are easier for you to read!
Thanks for the suggestion, I didn’t know this was a possibility. Just pushed an update that should now include font options!
Not a pain! Quite the opposite. I pushed an update this afternoon that should have fixed the bug, let me know if that helps and/or if you find any other issues. Much appreciated 😄
Yes, apparently! https://github.com/n3oney/catppuccin-lemmy
I see what you mean, that’s certainly confusing. I’ll work on a fix today!
Streaming my own music was the reason I got into self-hosting in the first place and I’ve been satisfied with Navidrome for over a year now. My preference is to stream via an app on my phone but I’ve made accounts for a couple friends and they stream happily on multiple devices using the browser interface.
