I keep a win10 virtual box available when I need excel while in Mint. Otherwise I’m good. Have win10 set as dual boot but switched main boot to Mint once I got used to it.

This is what Zuckerberg keyed in on early internet days. Tech savvy users understand what is at stake, but to the average user, it gets in the way of using apps that people socialize on.
