Holy shit, the tl;dr bot has made it over. Thank the lord!

That is so, so cool.
Like I said to the other person, don’t hesitate to use it just because someone else has done it first. As the quote goes: “Good writers borrow, great writers steal”.
The canon keeps it pretty ambiguous whether or not he’s actually alive IIRC. Several of the alien races refer to him as a “corpse emperor”, and obviously human sources in-world are unreliable. Either way, since he hasn’t actually been seen for 10,000 years, the effect is the same as OP describes.
Don’t be discouraged! As a player, the only thing better than an entirely new fantasy concept is one that I’m familiar enough with to recognize and role play my spin on it! I’m sure your players will enjoy spotting the similarities and a appreciate whatever you do.
Warhammer 40K does a really good job of this exact trope, actually. If you’re interested, check it out!
I would let him know that he has a tell, yeah. As for whether or not rolls should get fudged, I guess it depends on what you’re trying to get out of the game. For me and my players, my emphasis is on the continuity of the story I’m telling, so I tend to fudge rolls to keep things moving along.
Maybe tell us a little bit about yourself so people might know if you’re a good fit for their campaign?
For the record, this has more to do with Argentine financial mismanagement and China’s “expansive” fiscal policy than with the dedollarization that the headline is trying to imply.

Makerbot replicator 2. Old as hell but still gets the job done for my limited purposes.
I think the title is misinterpreting what Rybar said. “Deployed” in this case almost certainly means on the other side of the river, but close enough that the bridgehead still falls within its protection. An S300 system is a network of several vehicles, it would be tremendously vulnerable in a small space like a bridgehead. Plus, you’d probably need a pontoon bridge ready to get the system across, and I believe the consensus atm is that the pontoon is still being put together.
Good news: it’s in development, and a preload should be available sometime today!
Urim has been Israeli since the country came into existence, so I’m not really sure what you’re talking about. Unless your position is that all of Israel is occupied territory, in which case I invite you to take a look at what Palestinians did the moment they gained power over Jewish civilians and imagine that scene repeated across Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
