People have to be convinced to go on a general strike. USA spent $5 billion in Ukraine, so with 10 times the population it will take $50 billion to get things going.
You always trade billionaires. People don’t act on their own so there is always essentially one rich group fighting another.
The fascinating thing is that there is no billionaire group opposing Trump. So there must be a convincing argument to keep everybody in line.
Yes, I would think so. But then there must be a plan, a convincing plan that is more advanced than enslaving everybody, all the while nobody is leaking it.

That’s not a plan. The power of the USA are their natural resources and the drive of its population. If people stop believing, progress will stop like in the USSR and China will take over.

If China takes over, China will most likely end hunger and they will dominate all markets. Even if billionaires thrive on misery, they will not thrive for long if the USA declines.
There must be diversity among billionaires.
Also most of them are losing money and will lose even much more money. If it is all about money they must do something now.

But even if it is only one billionaire, there is no need to confront the police. Unlike before people don’t have to meet but can organize online. If everybody stays home, there is no threat from the police.

It doesn’t make sense. All the rich old men grew up with Russia being bad. Just the president being compromised should make them act. The president actively dismantling their power in the world is beyond accepable. And yet, nothing happens.
How can the American elite suppress workers with ease but they are helpless now that their president is controlled by Russia?
Nobody with power is acting on this, or any of the policies that destroy the economy.

It is easier to do the above three things. Removing a video draws attention to it because the author will post it on other channels. Other people will upload it to check the claim that it is removed.
It’s much easier to drown a problematic video in other content so that only few people discover it. So some people know the real truth, but nobody believes them or cares about them.

It could be that building the pyramids was not the regular job of the laborers. It was a communal experience like going to burnig man.
Society would be different if there would be one project that everybody builds together. It would be as unifying as a big war, without the disadvantages of a war.
It’s not the same because the president doesn’t represent society in a democracy in the same way.
For Egypt, the pharaoh was the thing that made Egypt. Kind o like the Dalai Lama or Jesus, the pharaoh was the son of horus, the incarnation of the principle of ruling. I am not an expert but I would say that the pyramid was built for that principle and not the person itself, whereas Trump has a Trump tower to make himself known.
If it isn’t Trump but e.g. Taylor Swift, I could imagine fans to build something for her, e.g. her next stage set, if she offers to provide food and housing.
For democracy though, society should build something that doesn’t celebrate one person but the community. E.g. China has a day when every citizen plants a tree. When you see the effect after some years, you can feel the transforming power of the community.
