Hehe, yeah, and he’s swerving to confuse the mines.

A bump on the head is all… And don’t call me Shirley.
That one puzzled me. My mind first went to “friendly fire”, and then to “a friendly fighter must be a Ukrainian fighter…”.
First guess was correct; it was downed by a Russian fighter, apparently.
One of god’s gifts to man was giving us concrete and steel with the same thermal expansion properties.
I’m pretty sure I read that somewhere.
I’m close to 50, and it feels like every year of my life (except for maybe a couple years in the early 90s) Russia has pulled stunts like this, in what I can only guess are silly attempts at displaying strength.
Well, the cat got outta the bag on that one, Russia, as soon as you went to war with a country that carried more than rifles.
What exactly are we looking at here, is it a drone with a flamethrower, spitting fire into trenches?
Slow Horses isn’t terrible either.
I never knew Frogfoot was the call sign for Su-25.
Nice to see the Russian ones go down in flames.
Maybe, in the future, we’ll have rapid up/rapid down trees? With AI. Maybe they’ll get the ability to walk, too, so they can stand where they provide the most shade.
Hey, Viktor, what if you give 20% of your country to Putin, then perhaps he’ll agree to get the heck out of Ukraina and we can live forever in peace?
He’s there on an intelligence gathering mission for Putin, isn’t he?
For an amusing read on how well their navy did against the Japanese, in 1905, check out Battle of Tsushima.
The Russians lost 5.045 and 21 ships (more captured and/or damaged). Japan lost 117 and 3 torpedo boats.
Here’s an entertaining video on their journey to Japan.
Now I’m picturing a faulty Javelin that needed the help of an ATV to get going.
How about: *leaning on an ATV
A tactical hole here, a tactical hole there… these nuclear drills are great.
I’m not familiar with the story you’re referring to, but typically a hard landing doesn’t necessitate a search/rescue team. Unless it’s a very hard “landing” into the side of a mountain, for example.
They’re still on the air?! Wow… I read a lot about it (and Radio City) a couple of decades ago, as I was reading up on the Maunsell Forts. I had no idea they were broadcasting back then, so to learn they’re still on the air now is fun.
Drones + C4 + detonators = bad times for Russian invaders?
The cybertruck looks like something a 5 yo mocked up with crayons.
I need to dig up my first grade notebooks… I’m pretty sure I can claim to have designed the Cybertruck in 1983.
“Until the missile launcher is deactivated…”, they say, referring to the missile launcher that “cannot be deactivated”.
“Have I Got News For You… US! I meant news for us!”
How yours truly read the title.
