Both illuminate what it means to be human and what makes us (not) achieve happiness, but explained through very different lenses

Interesting, I thought a bit about the comment

as long as the do not violate the law

i guess you might have cases where people can’t consent, like if one person in the relationship is underage, or mentally handicapped, or the like. Where you’d run into problems if you just announce “everyone can love anybody”. Guess there might be other similar cases?
