Can he not open a bank account at a normal, “chain,” type bank in the UK? The equivalent would be a Bank of America or Chase in the U. S. - banks where branches are commonly found in nearly any city or state. If he’s only been disallowed from banking with a few “prestigious” banks, well, boohoo.
