Why does it need a “six” on the “VI” in the logo. Do gamers struggle reading roman numerals?
I want one but it’s way too expensive.
No. My post got 40% down votes. One particular user insisted that I was using Samsung flaws as an excuse to like the iPhone. That I should admit that I just wanted an iPhone and my criticism towards Android were invalid.
I felt like talking to cultists. But I don’t think mods needed to involve. Lemmy is what it is.
You are right. I made a post about why I liked my iPhone in the Apple Enthusiasts community, and some Lemmy users were furious.
Voyager is great.
I disagree.
Lemmy has alternative UI such as Voyager and Photon, they are way ahead of Mbin in terms of look and feel.
What do you like about Mbin’s UX?

I can’t quite decide whether to consolidate LW and Fedia for the community. LW has more subscribers, but Fedia is a little more active.
I’m also thinking of asking active users of [email protected] to post on LW instead.
I want to use Mbin, but all Mbin instances are federated with tankie instances, including hexbear.
And Mbin doesn’t make it easy to see user/community instance.
Not video, but I will try to explain it in a simple way:
Lemmy instances are individual websites that run the Lemmy software. These instances are operated by different people or organizations and can have their own unique topics, rules, and communities.
Lemmy instances federate using the ActivityPub protocol. This protocol allows different servers, or instances, to communicate and share data such as posts, comments, and community interactions.
Different instances use the same software, but are managed by different admins.
For more detail about the admin of lemmy.ml, please refer to this post: https://lemmy.world/post/16239454
For people who want to avoid all content from lemmy.ml, including posts and comments:
I use lemmy.cafe now because it has defederated with lemmy.ml.
As a lemmy.cafe user, I don’t see any post/comment from lemmy.ml users at all.
Communities on lemmy.cafe are invisible to lemmy.ml users, so I would recommend creating more communities there.
Add some thermal paste and liquid cooling. Liquid nitrogen might help.
If you “explore” the fediverse, you are going to see lots of negativity (and tankies).
I end up viewing subscribed communities exclusively.
Find a cheap hosting solution that provides a fixed IP address, then host your own VPN or proxy server there.
Edit: if you use a non-standard port for the VPN, it should be less likely to be blocked.
Who is going to watch the watchers?
In Japan the series is called Bio Hazard.
Exactly! This game needs a map of explored places.
