At the point, pretty much all of the Black Sea Fleet is “submarines”.

I think it’s important to understand that, no matter how big these numbers get, Russia will not stop. Putin will sacrifice every man, woman, and child in both counties to maintain his fantasy of “winning” this war. The only thing that will stop him will be the inability to continue.
Yeah, that’s the official name, but I’ll stick to the APC designation. It carries troops. It’s armored. It does not have a tank-level main gun. It’s an armored personnel carrier. A good one, but an APC, none the less.
For anyone who doesn’t get the significance, these crazy cats took out a modern main battle tank with an armored personnel carrier. That’s like if the Bismark was sunk by the Titanic.
As an ethnic Pole, I feel like it’s important for me to call this a jerk move. Like the ukrainians have it too easy?
That does not look like it’ll pop right out with a little bondo.
Long term, yes, great for the planet. But shorter term, a shrinking pool of working aged adults are going to have to care for a growing pool of elderly. Additionally, the overall economy is going to contact before the age cohort imbalance takes care of itself. Same thing is happening across most of the developed world, but it’s happening faster in China, and they’re less developed to start with.
Since Poland was restored at the Treaty of Versailles, it has invaded exactly 0 countries. Russia has invaded a few dozen. Including Poland. Twice.
People will do batshit crazy shit if they think God wants them to.
Well, they are Russians. Where else are they going to go. Vladivostok? Arkangel?
Funny that 2 days seems too long ago.
Well, he would not be burdened with Putin’s legacy in Ukraine and could easily walk away from it as a bad investment. He’s certainly not a better man, but Putin is not able to end this war without losing power (and his life). Prigizhin can.
You would never ever EVER see …
I served in the 80’s and let me heartily agree. We “wind dummies” derided “Jar-Heads” and “Wing Nuts”, but the thought of actually trying to kill them is just ludicrous. Not even the ones from the wrong side of the political aisle. It’s hard to imagine what kind of sick environment the Muscovites have in place that could give rise to this kind of in-fighting. It’s hard to understand how they’ve managed to last this long with this level of rot.
This is too good to be true. I mean, it might actually be true, and it’s still too good to be true.
Let’s be honest: we’d all like to see another Kherson blitzkrieg. And the Russians are fighting back harder than we expected. But fate favors the side with the best weapons and tactics, and that probably isn’t Russia
No pity. If they don’t go, that means some one else has to do it. It’s the ultimate in selfishness.
This is not Viet Nam. They are being invaded. If they don’t believe in their country they should give up their citizenship.
