Worked as a civilian (GS) for the army for 30 year. This is pretty much SOP.
Everyone talks about honoring soldiers, but in every conflict they are used and discarded, like a used tissue. They come back with life long illness and are just abandoned.
It’s despicable, but is not new. No administration wants to pay the full bill for their wars.

I was going to say no facility manager would allow this. Then I remembered guys in our lab doing similar stuff. If you expose golf balls to extreme radiation they go much farther.

Yup. Also have an LG big screen. So frustrating that it has such amazing features and remote, but you cant trust them enough to plug in an ethernet cable.
All that labor and effort to create a really great product, then completely destroying it with corporate greed to squeeze that last penny of value out of you by undermining your network security and privacy.

Or, just never hook them up to your network.
I plug a laptop into my TV for viewing shows and never have connected it to my network.

God, I hate the “Thank you for your service” bullshit. I get it all the time and I wasn’t even enlisted. Especially from the conservatives, who thank you, then vote to cut benefits. It’s like fingers down a chalk board.
