I keep buying cheap toaster ovens. I keep paying the price for it. At least I know my smoke alarms work

I worked for a greenhouse in the Niagara region. We had maybe 2-3 migrant workers at a time and they worked HARD. My boss once said that he would prefer to hire the students from the local horticulture program but he still usually needs a few migrant workers to make sure we get through the season. He then informed me to look closer at the people working the fields around the area. The amount of work being done by migrant workers would simply not get done if they were kicked out. They make up a majority of the labour required so the grocery stores can put 5000 tomatoes on display at a time.

Not to worry, Trump is on it.

I hate to say it but the white house does require renovation every once in awhile. I don’t believe that Trump understands that and it was just tacked on by his staff. However it is a historic landmark. That will need airing out when Trump drops dead.

Not sure why people keep pronouncing it “ICE”. It’s pronounced “SS”.

My long term girlfriend cheated on me. It was bad, I’m going to let her move on and not go into details. I couldn’t sleep in the bed we shared for months. When i tried (after months) I kept waking up terrified because she wasn’t in bed and I didn’t know where she was. It didn’t take long to remember but most of the time I wouldn’t sleep for a few days after and I felt like I wanted to puke most of the time. Couldn’t eat either. Hit the bottle hard. It’s a bit better but I wouldn’t wish these feelings on my worst enemy.

I blame the schools… Administration’s.

It’s funny. Years ago Reddit had a trend “Ameristraulia” and it was riddled with “did we just become best friends?” comments. As a Canadian I felt like squidward. Stay steady fellow colonists.

Thankfully we get much longer terms so maybe we can ride out the storm.

I was wondering how this was so funny and I realised it’s very appropriate. A pair of illusionists with the hubris to think the tiger they subjugate won’t turn on them.

So we’re just doing “early death” as a cause of death now?
