Just for shits and giggles, I’ll try giving an actual argument.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton was right. It was her turn. She won the popular vote. I hate everything about that woman. I hate that she’s part of a dynasty, I hate that she rigged the primaries, I hate that her campaign donated money to Trump because they thought radicalising the right would lead to an easy win.

But she was right. The people did want a woman president, and that’s what they voted for. Walz is a really nice, genial guy. I like him. If he were a woman, I think he’d be a different person, or he’d not be a politician. Because to be a woman in the heart of the patriarchy, you need to be strong. You have to have unbreakable armour with no cracks. If the sexist system is challenged, then maybe the next woman president can be a nice person like Walz. But if we keep on having this system where women have to fight to be taken seriously and then aren’t liked for being fighters, then we’re never gonna have equality.

I don’t really care all that much about how good Harris is with a spreadsheet. Her debate and interview performance is important to me in a primary, not in a presidential election. At that point, I’m thinking about the future. About the girls who are going to become women in government. I want them to have more role models. I care way more about that than if Harris is nice, or if her budget plan is perfect.

I think Harris can be what America needs better than Walz can. Personality is only important in an election, symbolism is important in the white house.

Walz was great in 2024. He had enthusiasm and actually answered the interviewers’ questions. I would have preferred the symbolic victory of a black woman president, but I like Walz better as an individual person. I think he could have won if he’d been the presidential candidate. Well, Harris won too, but I mean he could have won even with the voter suppression stealing all those democratic votes.

President Walz and Vice President Cortez is the future we need. But probably not the future we’ll get.

I don’t think any of those scenarios focus on what happens to an unwanted steak. Abortion bans are horrible for all the little steaks who don’t get to have parents who wanted them, too.

Au contrare. I can go speak to otherkin right now. In fact, I’m in conversation with one about how the cartoon Generator Rex uses nanites as a parallel to the AIDS crisis. Otherkin quite clearly and obviously exist. I see otherkin much more often than I see fish.

Now, most people see fish more often, because most people are boring, but that’s no reason for disbelief. The point is that there’s little point proving something so non-controversial exists. Nobody cares. You won’t get a research grant for something so irrelevant.

Asking people to provide research studies for this kind of thing is absurd. The only reason all these studies on trans people exist is because the media politicises our existence. When you treat otherkin the same way, you’re politicising their existence too.

The people who think men can’t be raped are the bad guys. You’re supposed to disagree with them. You are having the intended emotional response to the comic. You agree with PizzaCake.

Yes, that’s how the real world treats male rape victims. This comic is about how fictional misandrists would treat a male robbery victims. Those are two different things. This fiction doesn’t make implications about the situation you described.

If you WANT to say transracial or transspecies or transnational is a thing, by all means do some research and prove it through studies and peer review. Until then, it is unlikely to be recognized the same way that transgender has because it has a lot of supporting evidence.

I want to play a game with you. You’re demanding evidence for something that some people have a lot of experience with, but most people don’t care to investigate. I wanna do the same thing.

I’ve decided that fish aren’t real. I want you to link a scientific journal article that says fish are real. Not one that presupposes the existence of fish in general, one that asks if fish actually exist and asserts an answer from evidence.

No. Otherkin are valid. The social construct of species isn’t.

Asexual reproduction. Sapiens-Neanderthal hybrids. Tree grafting. Speciation is nonsense with no basis in empirical observation. The only reason it’s become an accepted paradigm in the scientific community is that the convenience outweighs the inaccuracy in a lab context. It doesn’t when we’re talking about otherkin. When we’re talking about otherkin, the cost of continuing to believe in the made up nonsense that is species is too high.

Sometimes comic artists and other creatives put characters in their works who have bad opinions they disagree with. Pizzacake doesn’t agree with the opinion that men can’t be raped, she just depicted it in a comic. Depiction isn’t the same as agreement. If it was, then George Lucas would be a Sith and Mary Shelley would be an abusive parent.

I like her comic. It’s satire. She doesn’t agree with the misandry in the comic, you’re supposed to think the women’s opinions are wrong. She’s on the men’s side.
