Three thoughts:

• A 3-4 point “slim” lead is absurd as we watch Trump light the country, our savings, and future generations’ financial stability on fire.
• I don’t pretend to know what will happen this fall but “disappointed” seems like the correct left-leaning calibration since 2016.
• I am so sick of right-biased political minority rule in this country. Since 2000 have we at any time had a presidency, senate, and House that were all controlled by the party that got the most votes in a given election?

I think that ship has left the dock, and already hit an iceberg. Reports are that Barron is a fan of Andrew Tate and was part of the reason he was released.

Pretty standard kabuki politics.

Tillis and Cassidy are retiring or lost their primary. The rest of the “rifts” are barely disagreements, from Ted Cruz and Nikki Haley - effectively “I’m so upset with Trump I’m not going to cup the balls for the next five minutes.”

For the rest, I’m sure they’re very upset behind closed doors, which is great for them because they can get all that aggression out before going on Fox News and telling the world it’s the best deal of the century and Trump is a master negotiator.

In his memo, Zuckerberg predicted that even more difficult days could be ahead for the company, despite vowing to hold off on any future layoffs for the rest of the year.

“Given the complexity of these changes, we’ve made mistakes and will almost certainly make more,” he admitted.

“I will certainly make more mistakes that you will have to pay for, but I can promise you you will probably not be laid off for at least six months.”
