Criticism may be justified, but without Proton, how far would wine have come? Without Steamdeck + proton, gaming would still be a no-go for linux and absolutely not worth mentioning. So fewer users would have switched to linux.
OK let go back and bring wine forward … Maybe it will be something in 10-20 years ( well for released titles and not future Titels.)
The former developers really want to publish it as OSS. This was ignored and the developers gradually dropped out. Then the management decided “anyway, a former developer had a good PR idea, let’s do it” and there was no one left to check the code etc. They just released it and started the shit show.
Yep, but I think it’s good for the former dev’s to see what crap the management is making and instead of taking credit, they’re more likely to get a shitstorm.
Just sad for the work of the dev’s.
Statement from dev about the shit show
2100? Lol https://www.zdnet.com/article/say-hi-to-microsofts-own-linux-cbl-mariner/
Azure server etc running on linux too…
Ah ok. Haven’t used anything other than ventoy for ages. I may have used drivedroid on the side because you can boot from Android (requires root) and you always have the smartphone with you anyway. But I haven’t used it for ages either.
What is faster about always flashing the required ISO instead of selecting it more quickly in the boot loader?
Selinux on arch linux
https://youtu.be/LSAc4uyxTao They add and improve stuff all the time
Unfortunately, not all functions are available in the linux version. However, this is not due to the developers but to the specifications so that they are allowed to implement xnurbs etc… In other words, you would have to run it via wine, but that works wonderfully. Even so, updates with fixes or new functions etc. come regularly. Had also bought it because of 3d printing and was completely new to 3d printing and 3d software. Can only recommend it.

Congratulations that nothing caught fire and everything just burns down.
With bambu Lab, however, you are supporting a Chinese closed source manufacturer that makes use of the open source community and has no development costs. This only supports the fact that open source alternatives have to become closed source in the long term and thus destroys the market in the long term. But greed is good, right?
I also had a complete backup, but I was also considering reinstalling it at the time anyway. Accordingly, only partially restored data. But you should definitely make a backup, that’s true.
Did the same with raspi3… It broke too many things for me and couldn’t be restarted. I then completely reinstalled it.
You could use it together with opensnitch
I like iptables + opensnitch
Try previews and smb in dolphin… its horrible slow. With NFS instead of smb it’s perfect
Plasticity. (xnurbs is so damn nice)
