Oh, I’m sure. And i’m sure we have very similar people in general. Thanks!
I’m not a fish now. But, I was one once. So were you.
Oh, I’m sure. And i’m sure we have very similar people in general. Thanks!
Come on guys, I looked at both of your comment histories and you both appear to be on the same side, please don’t argue. Also, Grass Cat, LandedGentry has a good point with calling everyone turds lol.
@[email protected] , are you also from the land of JD Vance? Saw a comment about CCW no longer being required in your state.
I’m with Jesus on this one. She has had a target on her back from day one and she has done nothing but shine. No controversies, level headed. I’m not religious myself, but i would not be surprised if she were an angel lol
Many people are doing stuff now. Hell, I’m one random person and I filed a FOIA request for all of Pam Bondi’s communications on the situation. But, yes, if that happens, people will definitely escalate.
Interesting. Thanks for the education and conversation!
Ah, ok. So, they could work on say, one big piece of something for a rich person and stretch it out for a year, versus doing 6-12 for people over the same period of time?

Sounds like they got greedy, huh? Money corrupts.
Yes, we have a shitty landlord in Trump and Musk is the shitty house flipper that is driving up prices in neighborhoods while doing things like removing load bearing walls, which will fuck the next owner.
Hey friend, you bring up very good points, and i was making a broad generalization. But, did the arts & craft movement really price themselves out, or were they undercut by the same types of shenanigans that we see today by these evil corporations? We’re on the same side, let’s not be divisive.
We must have worked for different boards and CEOs then . I have watched boards and CEOs get recommendations for customer protecting cybersecurity investments, then deny them, even after previous loss of customer data.
Because it was cheaper to deal with the fallout in the event that something happened again. Spoiler alert: it always does
Bob Robertson explains my point better than I feel like typing at this time lol. He’s spot on. Also, I worked as a project manager for the product owners that make these types of decisions. Everything I relayed was from experience. Edit: I will add, look at people like musk that proudly proclaim “i do no market research” and then look at the cybertruck.
So, how about planned obsolescence then?
Yes, I worry about many of those same things, and I’m sure we both worry about much more than that. But, me hating people and wishing bad on them only causes me to feel bad (by them always being in my head). It doesn’t do anything to them. If it helps you, I would never ask you to stop wishing bad on them.
Edit: also, in my experience, most people that actually end up finding redemption aren’t actually looking for it. It comes when they least expect it, often through a major life occurrence.
lol…yes, that is why enshitification is a word. Why a car manufacturer adding buttons back to their next model again made headlines. Also, try Chipotle today vs Chipotle 10 years ago, 20 years ago. sorry, but calling bullshit on this one.
I have empathy because I know that one right realization can completely change anyone. Everyone deserves the chance at redemption. Still, I have cut most such people out of my life. Because, at age 50, I don’t feel it is my responsibility to be educating all of them, and they are insufferable.
There is still plenty of room for more artistry in the products we buy. However, companies would rather report 3.01 EPS and have happy shareholders and less happy customers than 2.98 EPS and unhappy shareholders and happy customers, because they didn’t want to spend a few extra pennies here and there.
Because they didn’t have shareholders that needed to steal the value from every aspect of life. People could take time to craft things. They were craftsmen.
Well, that means Trump and Musk will be calling for the same soon.
Fuck trump, put him on the plane with the Senator.
