One exception.
One exception.
It’ll run Johnny Castaway just fine.
I believe it’s a goose.
If you need to sleep in them as well Sennheiser HD450BT or similar are good as the ear pads do not touch the dried apricot parts of your ears.
Decent sound, but the SNR is not perfect.
I don’t think I’ll ever take off while it’s called Lemmy. It’s just not a word that sounds ‘good’ in my opinion.
Only an issue if you don’t disable fast shutdown on Windows. A hibernated system might get surprised if another OS moves files about while it was asleep.
I’ll have another look. Didn’t seem to be an option to have it on a Windows guest when I installed it.
Same.
The lack of graphics acceleration is a bit painful though.
VirtualBox won’t work on Fedora 40 AFAICT, and once installed it can’t be uninstalled.
I don’t think mbin existed at that time. For a long time I was on kbin on desktop and Artemis on Android. Artemis kinda evaporated, and eventually I settled on Voyager, which meant I needed a lemmy.world amount. I still used kbin on desktop but it became less and less reliable.
A shame about kbin. It’s where I landed as well but eventually had to move to lemmy.world.
I wonder if there would be enough data on archive.org to rebuild your community? I guess not given users who moved might not have kepth the same usernames.
No, but VNC will work. It just doesn’t have sound.
Mostly just using Rustdesk or Nomachine, or a remote desktop client for best results.
Nice. I use older lappies to remote control my i7 machine. They can be fairly good dumb terminals.
Wallace and Grommit seem to show otherwise, with the ability to lay new track ahead of the train in real time.
I forgot mine once but happened to have two AAA batteries in my pocket. I looked weird but I can didn’t go deaf. (It was a seated event.)
Ok.
It’s not an option out if the box for me on Fedora 40 but maybe it’s because I started on 39 and upgraded later.
Because it can’t hibernate? (But then, not sure which distros can.)
S3 (hibernate) is conspicuously absent in many distros.
Every morning /kbin is working on some issues.
I blame Ian Dury.
Possibly NSFW.
