Imo for a single job, I’d prioritize getting some tap magic over worrying about tap quality. For aluminum, tap magic makes a big difference.

Do you have enough margin to drill it out and retap to an m5 thread?
That’s $700 for a digital only edition without a disk drive or vertical stand. It’s $810 to match the features of the PS5.0
It would be nice for car keys and other remotes to never run out of battery. This seems like a good convenience technology, assuming it can be brought to market at comparable prices to li ion cells.
Yeah, ten years ago any apartment complex near campus that had undergone any renovations within the prior 15 years was being marketed as “luxury.”
Most of them were still cramped places with terrible materials and paper thin walls. The students living in them were frequently heavily dependent of financial aid or their parents had saved diligently for 20 yrs. There were some “elites,” but most of them were international students.
The chain of cities from Detroit to Québec City really looks like it should be a prime candidate for HSR.
No, never. Current charging rates already get close to thermal constraints. Hitting those charging rates either requires accepting much lower power density or using way more metal per cell. This research might inform design changes to improve charging rates, but we’ll never see high capacity batteries charging in a minute.
The researchers know this and only mention wearables and iot devices applications. The article author erroneously makes the leap to high energy density devices.
If you don’t care about energy density at all, ceramic capacitors can already charge and discharge in microseconds.

Left-hand threaded screws and nuts are reasonably common, albeit, more expensive. Those would make it righty-tighty.
I have a combination washer/dryer unit. It doesn’t do a great job at drying, but it does remove enough of the moisture that it takes a couple days to get musty. It’s nice that I can just stick a load in before bed, and besides wrinkles, there’s no problem with me not getting to it for a day.
The combo units have tiny drums and take longer than separate units. They wouldn’t be suitable for a family with kids, but for just two people It’s been pretty convenient.
That’s been a recurring theme in US based semiconductor for decades. I have two friends who were highly skilled in semiconductor equipment servicing and both have left the industry due to terrible management/pay.
Other countries should also be looking at adding forest area and wetlands in a strategic fashion to improve freshwater retention. Deforesting clearly changes local climates. So we should be able to do the reverse as well.
Historical accounts make it sound like the vast majority of land east of the Mississippi in the US used to be old growth forest. Between the chestnut blight and over 200 years of logging, most of the old growth forest is gone.
India has had some notable successes with a grassroots movement to get rural communities to do small earthworks projects to colllect water during the rainy season and let it seep into the ground. They have demonstrated a notable reduction in crop failures during the dry season resulting from the community action.
Dr. Zoidberg we know that’s you.
If they start to get any sort of volume, it would probably be fairly easy to partner with a US based printer as well. It’s not like these products are particularly unique beyond the artwork.
You and your bad puns should hit the road.
This author cites his own tweets and offers no evidence. It is complete speculation. We need better writing than this to consider such an extraordinary claim seriously.
An international minimum wage should be established and imports made without meeting that wage should have substantial tariffs.

I believe it’s the nerve pathway between the receptors and the brain that are suspected to be affected. There was a trial where they did a nerve block and it brought the lost taste/smell back, which implies the receptors were unaffected.
The aluminum version would be preferred, but what you linked will do just fine. I can’t find a small tin of the aluminum version on Amazon, so don’t bother overspending on a large container.
If you are going up a thread size, make sure you get the appropriate drill bit. You need to drill out the hole before tapping. M5 usually calls for a 4.2mm predrill.
