  • I had a very small list of subs on reddit, but I feel like Lemmy is a fresh start so I want to expose myself to a lot of communities, then curate and prune as I start to get a feel for the platform. So I’m trying to hit subscribe on anything even remotely appealing, then step back as needed. Feels like a better approach than trying to be too narrow. I’m also freely browsing the local and all feeds of the three instances I’m on, which I would NEVER do on reddit. r/popular and r/all were awful to me.

    Also, this is my lesser-used instance: my main is on feddit.uk, although there’s far less traffic there.
