They are all about low cost high performance builds.
Quicksync from Intel with an igpu is a god send . I’m running an i3 in my Plex server and it’s a hoss.

If you’re sticking with Deb based distros. Ubuntu Kubuntu - same as Ubuntu but kde Kde neon Pop_os
You might could try Manjaro. I have pretty good luck with it.
It’s not Deb or apr. But it has the aur.

I use “gnome-disk-utility” for mounting disks.
Heck if I can get a computer to mount a drive on login… but “disks” let’s me do that easily.
Granted that might be different for your setup. So ymmv

I’ve been on Linux for ages and ages… back when I had to order CDs for new copies of Ubuntu.
Kde is the first desktop experience that I feel is the gold standard.
Every iteration of Linux I’ve used, solus, fedora, Ubuntu, Manjaro the DE I use is KDE.
I’m not sure why… but it makes sense to me and is my gold standard experience.

Ive bounced around all over arch, Manjaro, fedora, pop_os, mint but I always come back to kubuntu.
It just works for me.

How does mapcrafter run for you now? I’m hosting a vanilla server and that’s exactly what I need to see our map. I’m just concerned that it doesn’t function properly now due to recent updates.
