Ok and how is this update going to break my computer because every update breaks it.
This plus hotpatch is going to be very nice for users. They always cry about their devices constantly needing restarts. It got really bad where devices were updating 10-30mins each update.
Having those who write the OS so incestuously involved in hawking hardware is probably a bad idea and unsustainable when they have so demonstrably switched their emphasis to forcing new kit.
the bits for the ‘upgrade’ have been flowing-in through regular updates for months, with features left disabled… slowing those updates every single month. the upgrade time was just spread out in installments, instead of being paid all at once.
