Same. I hadn’t even thought of the other angle originally tbh. Kinda sad that we always have to be so alert to the nefarious things that a change in legislation could lead to.
We are famously bad at recognizing long term implications though. - you’re among many :)
Rent control good example of looking term implications. Unfortunately governments and voters do not look much past their term.
