Victoria Petrova, a defendant in the military “fakes” case, was released from a psychiatric hospital. She spent almost 8 months there
The Kalininsky District Court of St. Petersburg replaced the compulsory inpatient treatment of Victoria Petrova, convicted in the case of military “fakes”, with outpatient observation by a psychiatrist. She was released from the hospital.
The reason for her release was formulated in the hospital as: “a critical attitude towards the disease and the crime committed has developed, which eliminates the need for inpatient treatment.”
Petrova was sent to a psychiatric hospital by court order from the end of December 2023.
Victoria Petrova, 28, was accused of “fakes” about the Russian Armed Forces for a post on VKontakte that criticized Putin and the war in Ukraine, and spoke of human losses on both sides. Nine videos were attached to the post.
Anyone worried about here will be happy to hear she’s alright. Everything is alright. She has won the struggle over herself. She loves
