Mozilla has been taken over by an anti-Privacy, pro-Advertising, pro-AI cabal.Mozilla Firefox Goes Anti-Privacy, Pro-Advertising:https://lunduke.locals.com/p...
I think a big part is that the headline is antithetical to what Firefox’s brand has been, but doesn’t make it clear that this is due to an update. Even just saying “Firefox: The newest Data Collection, Advertising Browser” would be better. Otherwise, people who are familiar with Firefox but not the newest update will read the headline and think, “What? No it isn’t.” Downvote
I agree, components of the video description and the video itself also seem a bit sensationalist even if the information is factually correct. “cabal” for example.
I sat through the video and didn’t have too many issues. Considering the delivery of most YouTube creators are biased I expect a small amount of sensationalism… which admittedly was there but wasn’t overbearing.
I prolly wouldn’t sub the guy but the information was at least well represented and explained.
Cabal is a colorful choice of word. Honestly I’d describe the recent Mozilla actions as insidious; frankly. This recent change is, if anything, a clear signal that they are willing to sacrifice the user experience for profit and… well… we know how that goes.

I’ll admit it was shocking to see their change in stance… and it needs more eyes on it. Your explanation seems plausible though.
