Israeli authorities informed the United Nations on Sunday that it will no longer approve the passage of any UN agency for Palestine refugees, UNRWA, food convoys into northern Gaza.
Whatever happened to Israel having to prove to the ICJ they are letting sufficient aid in? Why is nothing happening, shouldn’t there be consequences for this? I know Israel generally doesn’t see consequences but it also generally doesn’t have to comply with an ICJ ruling…
At this point the official death toll can only be a severe undercount.
Oh absolutely. I can’t imagine how many people were buried under collapsed buildings or just blown to smithereens.
Also a tangent but it made me think of how back in October the CBC was publishing a graph of Palestinian deaths vs Israeli deaths for the first few weeks, then they suddenly stopped including the graph when Palestinian deaths rose to 3 or 4 times the Israeli deaths.
