It’s possible to support the BBC as a cultural institution without agreeing with every decision made by its current leadership. Those aren’t conflicting values. In fact I’d argue that holding both those thoughts simultaneously is the only way to seek meaningful institutional change, as opposed to the ‘burn it all down’ crowd.
