Gary Stevenson called it in his video about Could we be about to get wealth taxes in the UK?. If the new dude isn’t a total loser, he’ll take the wealth disparity seriously.
In a statement outside Downing Street, Starmer said: “Every decision I’ve taken has been about putting the country first. That’s why I have resigned as leader of the Labour party.”
If that had been true, he would’ve cared about the wealth gap and made it priority #1. Instead he pushed for total surveillance and reducing services for the 99%. What a twat.
That’s right. Fuck Keir Starmer. Hopefully, Andy Burnham is better but I’m not holding my breath.
Wes Streeting has just backed Andy Burnham to become leader (11:09am BST, via Sky News), so I guess that takes away Burnham’s only possible stumbling block.
Wonder if anyone else will even try to run 🤔
Well, there is still time for a relatively unknown backbencher to come forward. I think something similar happened the last time Burnham ran for the leadership.
For the unaware:
Support for Corbyn, who entered the race as a dark horse candidate,[2] and the release of opinion polls which showed him leading the race, led to high-profile interventions by a number of prominent Labour figures including Gordon Brown,[3] Tony Blair,[4] Jack Straw,[5] David Miliband,[6] and Alastair Campbell, among others,[7] many of whom argued that Corbyn’s election as leader would leave the party unelectable.
Despite these interventions, Corbyn was elected in the first round receiving 59.5% of the votes, winning in all three sections of the ballot. Less than a year later, a leadership challenge saw another leadership election, where Corbyn again won, with an increased share of the vote.

So when does he fuck off?
Edit: From other sources, he’ll be gone before Parliament reconvenes in September.
rest in piss
