    It seems helicopters aren’t great in this kind of combat as they’re just floating east targets yeah? Individuals with lightweight rocket launchers can take one down in the field.

      The Russians caused a lot of trouble at the beginning of the counter offensive with their attack helicopters. The KA-52 are capable of striking ground targets from deep behind the frontline.
      But you’re right, they are easy targets if they don’t keep their distance.

        Yeah, unfortunately they can fire missiles from around 10km, I think MANPADS have less than a quarter of that range
