According to Wikipedia: The World’s Billionaires, there are 3,428 billionaires in the world.

According to Fortune, there are 928 billionaires in the USA.

According to California Billionaire Wealth Tracker there are 250 billionaires in California. This number fluctuates from 248 to 255 depending on their investments and how many private jet flights they take to Epstein Island 2.

So… 250 people and their immediate beneficiaries panicking. In a sane world, that wouldn’t make anything but local headlines. And instead we see that it could impact whether people get food and medicine half way around the world.
